BORN UNMARKED is a trading name of Ciel Collingwoode-Williams, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal information collected through this website. You can contact us at support@bornunmarked.com.

WHAT WE COLLECT

When you place an order we collect your name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number if you provide one, and the details of your order. Payment details are collected and processed by our payment providers; we do not see or store your full card details. If you sign up for news and updates we collect your email address. Our website host also uses cookies and similar technologies to run the shop, for example to remember your basket, and to understand how the site is used.

HOW WE USE IT

We use your information to process and deliver your order, take payment, provide customer support, handle returns and refunds, send order updates, keep the site secure, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. We only send news and updates if you have signed up, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Our lawful bases are performing our contract with you, our legal obligations, our legitimate interests in running and securing the shop, and your consent for marketing emails.

WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

Our products are made to order and shipped by our fulfilment partner, so we share your name, delivery address, email address and order details with them, and with their delivery carriers, to make and deliver your order. We also use Squarespace to host this website and process orders, and payment providers to take payment. We do not sell your personal information. Some of these providers may process information outside the UK; where they do, we rely on the safeguards required by UK law.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

We keep order and payment records for as long as we need them to meet tax and accounting obligations, which in the UK is usually up to six years. Email addresses for news and updates are kept until you unsubscribe.

YOUR RIGHTS

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict or stop using it, object to how we use it, ask for a copy in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time. To use any of these rights, contact us at support@bornunmarked.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
